Riding in the port ministry van early this morning. Up earlier on this Saturday than we get up during the week.
Wishing I was still snuggled deep in the covers and the home was still quiet
Yet, I am up. Headed to the port ministry. We have a new cruise ship coming in today. We get to meet new international friends, start new relationships, minister to new people
What is that on the radio? The Man looks over at me – that isn’t English. Turn it up.
An amazing song to start our day. A song that sings the song of my heart. The Language of Worship from English, Hindi, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Zulu, Africaans, Mandarin
I am so thankful. Thankful for a beautiful song to start my day. Thankful for our friends from other countries as well as those we will meet today. Thankful that this song is a small demonstration of what I imagine heaven to sound like.
Thankful to be reminded of amazing worship services in foreign countries. We were in Israel…worshipping with believers from, at least, 25 different countries…all singing the same song in their language. It was exactly what I imagined heaven to sound like. Thankful for believers from different nations, tribes, and tongues.
