Photo Collage of Patience

Waiting! She has been waiting since her birthday – in July! Waiting for a new bed that was promised on the long car ride home from the beach, on her birthday – in July! It is November. Waiting. Patience, taught by the youngest.

Last week, she whispered in my ear, “Mom, when are we going to be able to get my loft bed?” Quietly wondering if the promise would be kept. Life got in the way – travel home from vacation, start school, leave on our hurrication, move to a new home, struggle with the internet and computer issues after the move, try to get back on track with school, plan the mission trip – forgot the promise of the loft bed.

Finally, found the bed online – ordered it! One week. It will be here in one week – seven days and the promise would be fulfilled. It was delivered two days early! Happiness. Bed put together, room (semi) organized) – ready to sleep on. Two days early – not 3 months late. Two days early.

I love the new bed, and am anxious to see it up close. Patience is a virtue – something of great value. Proud of you and the lessons you are learning.
