As spring approaches and we get closer to leaving NOLA, we look at the things that we will miss. Trying to go somewhere one more time. Sno-balls, beignets at Café du Munde, Mulate’s, the aquarium, insectarium, zoo, street cars, the Creole Queen, the ferry…..so many things that uniquely New Orleans. Each has a special place in our hearts and have been a part of our journey.
One sunny day last week, we decided to have a picnic and school at City Park. Love City Park…..
It was Good Friday. So we spent some time reading and comparing the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Great conversation on a beautiful day!
Big Sis and Middle Sis studied some biology and collected leaves for our next science lab.
Lil Sis worked on her language arts and photography.
Even the Man joined us on the picnic and the schooling. He studied for one of his test – which he took today and made a 96! Studying and spending time out in God’s amazing creation must be effective 🙂
We are going to miss this beautiful place! But we know that the Lord will show us more of His glorious creation wherever He places us!
