The First Georgia Field Trip

Our first Georgia field trip – all five of us – to Kennesaw Battlefield; lots of fun, lots of time to discuss life.

We get there to this….. Parking lot closed; sign posted. Now what…the same as everyone else. We parked down the road and continued on, out to walk the grounds. The office was closed and no park rangers in sight.

This road – straight up the mountain. They decided that they wanted to walk up the mountain.

A little education in history and government and physical education/health. Lots of education on our nature walk; seeing lots of God’s amazing creation.

At the top….hot, tired, proud to be able to start the walk down. It was a great family field trip! A great day! Thankful that the man got to go. Thankful to be enjoying the time in Georgia
